Chapter 7
Reviews and points (limits, feedback, appeals)
How reviews work, when you get points, recording limits, and how to appeal
On this page
Reviews
- Each video you upload is reviewed in about 3–5 days. Reviews sometimes take longer, so thanks for your patience.
- Only approved time earns points.
- Rejected videos, videos flagged for feedback or fraud, and time over the limits don't earn points.
Points
- You get points worth a set amount for every approved hour. The amount is shown on the campaign screen in the app and includes any limited-time bonus.
- Points are counted by the minute, with no minimum.
- Points usually arrive within 5 business days after approval.
- Use them like any other Sampo points. Redeem them for the rewards available in your country, like digital gift cards.
- After 10 approved hours, you get a one-time head mount support bonus in points. The amount is shown in the app.
🏦 Bank transfer (coming soon in some countries): We plan to add transfers to a bank account in your own name. We'll announce it in the app. Until then, use the rewards that are already available, like digital gift cards.
Check your review status
The campaign screen in Sampo shows your approved time, time under review, and the status of each recording.
Recording rewards
- Approved: Time that passed review, and the points for it.
- Pending review: Time that's still under review. Amounts marked (est.) are what you'll earn if approved, so they may change.
Recent recordings
Each recording shows the date, the task, its length in minutes, and its status:
- In review: We're still reviewing it.
- Approved: It passed and earns points.
- Feedback: It needs a fix. The reviewer's comment appears under the recording. Read it and fix the issue next time.
Tap See all › to see every recording you've made.
- When feedback arrives, Minute Data also sends you a notification. See step ⑭ in Use the Minute Data app.
- Disagree with a decision? See "Appeal a decision" below.
Recording limits
The Limit meter on the campaign screen shows how much time you have left today, in total, and for your top task.
Tap Learn for the recording manual and example videos. The menu below it lets you review or withdraw your consent and appeal a review decision.
- Per day: Upload up to 14 hours a day.
- Per task: Record up to 25 hours of the same task.
- Total: Recording pauses at 100 hours. After a check, you can continue in a different environment, like another home or outdoors.
- Popular tasks: A task may disappear from the list once it hits its overall limit.
Time over the limits doesn't earn points. Check the meter to see how much you have left.
The campaign may end without notice once all spots are filled.
If you get feedback
- Read the comment (for example, "The room is too dark" or "Your hands aren't visible") and fix it in your next recording.
- Getting the same feedback again and again may be treated as fraud.
- Videos flagged for feedback or fraud don't earn points.
Appeal a decision
- If you disagree with a feedback, rejected, or fraud decision, you can appeal within 14 days of the decision. After 14 days, you can't appeal.
- On the campaign screen in Sampo, tap Appeal a review decision in the menu. Pick the recording and the reason, then send it. You can appeal once per recording.
- Our team looks into it and asks the reviewers to check again if needed. We'll let you know as soon as we hear back.
- Can't send it from the app? Email support@sampo.cash (PONT K.K.) with the date and time of the video and the task name.
