What is the household chores campaign?

The Household Chores Filming Special Campaign is a Sampo campaign where you record the chores you already do, like cooking, laundry, and tidying up. You get Sampo points as a reward. No experience needed.

Your recordings go to an AI and robotics company in the U.S. They're used to train robots and AI that help with housework. Robots learn by watching real hands do real chores, so everyday footage from lots of homes matters.

How to get started

1. Tap the campaign banner in Sampo and answer a few quick questions.
2. Accept the campaign terms and privacy consent, then verify your ID.
3. Watch the training videos and take a short quiz (about 5 minutes).
4. Get a head mount.
5. Send one test recording in the Sampo app.
6. Sign up for Minute Data, the recording app, and start recording.

Reward points

• Earn points worth a set amount for every approved hour of recording. You'll find the amount on the campaign screen in the app. It includes any limited-time bonus.
• Points are counted by the minute, with no minimum. You can earn points for up to 100 approved hours.
• Points usually arrive within 5 business days after your recordings are approved. Reviews sometimes take longer, so thanks for your patience.
• After 10 approved hours, you get a one-time head mount support bonus in points. The amount is shown in the app. See Get your head mount.
• Time over the limits doesn't earn points. The limits are 14 hours a day, 25 hours per task, and 100 hours in total.
• The campaign may end without notice once all spots are filled.

Who can join

You can join if you:

• Are 18 or older (or the minimum age shown in the app for your country).
• Live in a country where the campaign is open. The app checks this when you apply.
• Have a supported phone (see "Supported phones" below).
• Can record chores at home, standing up, and your housemates are OK with it. See Your videos and privacy.

Each person can have only one account.

What you'll need

• A supported phone. It doesn't have to be a spare.
• A head mount that holds your phone on your forehead. You buy it yourself. See Get your head mount.
• A photo ID: a passport or driver's license.
• Your own email address.

Good to know

• This isn't a job or employment. It's a Sampo campaign run by PONT K.K. You join by accepting the campaign terms.
• Record whenever, wherever, and as much as you like. There are no minimum hours, quotas, or schedules.
• You can stop anytime, and it's fine to use other apps or services too.

Supported phones

Supported

• iPhone: 12 through 18 series (except e models like 16e and 17e), and iPhone Duo
• Google Pixel: 6 through 11 series, including the a series (for example, Pixel 8a)
• Samsung Galaxy: S21 through S26 series (including FE and S25 Edge), and Galaxy Z Fold5

Not supported

• iPhone e models (16e, 17e, and so on)
• Galaxy Z series (except Z Fold5) and Galaxy A series
• Tablets and any phone not listed above
